Gerard McKenna, former tutor and great friend of Allen Hall, passes away

We were deeply sad to hear that Gerard McKenna, former tutor of Allen Hall, died last Saturday 17 March 2013.

Gerard was a much loved friend and longtime supporter of Allen Hall over many years.

In recent times he was an active member of Allen Hall Advisory Committee and was instrumental in organising the 50th anniversary reunion weekend in September 2011.

We will be paying tribute to Gerard in issue #2 of our Allen Hall Alumni Association Newsletter, due out in early April (date TBC), and here on our website.
